A LONG HISTORY

Nanne Klazinga has been active as an agricultural farmer for almost 35 years. Pure entrepreneurship, hard work and always innovating. “A wonderful combination. For example, we have started renting out cooling and freezing rooms. Of course running on sustainable energy from our windmill and solar panels”.

The collaboration between Nanne Klazinga and Rengineers has a long history. Nanne was one of the first wind turbine owners to contact Joop Bettink. For the maintenance of the Lagerwey LW18 / 80. A collaboration characterized by a no-nonsense culture. Accessible people, technical expertise and approaches; that characterizes Rengineers. Business is on the one hand a feeling, on the other hand it is always about money. That is the ideal mix. With the Garant Contract I am assured of a decent return.

The Lagerwey LW18 / 80 was scaled up to a Vestas V52 in 2004. A new turbine where maintenance was of course enclosed by Vestas. Rengineers was therefore out of the picture. “Vestas did a good job on paper. But I missed the affinity and relationship with the mechanics. The promised availability percentage was achieved, but was not sustained. At one point the generator broke down. The turbine was idle for 3 weeks. The availability percentage was still achieved (average over 5 years). Because this means that you can stand still for 91 days in five years. That didn’t feel right. Especially since the generator turned out to be out of stock. As far as I am concerned, the goal is not to solve malfunctions, but to prevent them.”

“In 2009 I contacted Joop Bettink again. After an inspection, a Garant Contract was concluded with Rengineers. This time for the Vestas V52 ”. When asked why he chose Rengineers, Nanne Klazinga says: “The answer is very simple: they say what they do and do what they say. I think that is very important.”

“In 2018 I had the opportunity to buy a windmill. An Enercon E53; part of Windfarm Harenkarpsel. This park consists of 8 wind turbines of the same type.”

Enercon was a reliable partner for me. But I would prefer to place the maintenance of the Enercon with Rengineers as well, I know exactly where I stand and of course I had years of experience with it.”

I knew that Rengineers was in the process of offering the Garant Contract for Enercon turbines. That is why I called Rengineers in consultation with the board of the Harenkarspel wind farm and expressed my confidence in them. The result is that all 8 turbines from this wind farm have now been provided with a Rengineers Garant Contract. “I immediately had confidence in it. Practice has now proven this.”
