RENEWABLE CHANGE

Climate is changing, and so does technology! The Bettink Service respond to this changing demand! I want to take you back into history, feel the present, and look forward to the future!

It is about 23 years ago that I was forced to start a company in the independent service for wind turbines, all without vision or a business plan. We set the first amazing steps with an enormous thank you to my former employer Lagerwey wind-turbines, who appointed us as the service centre in Noord-Holland and Zeewolde (NL).

Our solution-orientated approach to unburden investors and farmers are the core of our business. Many opportunities for growth came our way. The Bettink Service Team was confronted with a variety of issues such as leaf damage with blades, broken gearboxes and components that were quite challenging to gain.

International appreciation followed shortly after. About ten years later, due to the tremendous global interest and various specialties, we were able to set up a number of new companies. A revision company for large parts: BGS. A blade repair company: Global Blade Service. An inspection and advice agency: TeSuCon. And a webshop for parts: windturbinespareparts.com.

Optimisation and sobriety remained our distinguishing factors. Even advice to significant wind turbine manufacturers are now part of the activities of Bettink Service Team. In 2018 we took over the events of LELY Aircon. That is why we are a producer of smaller wind-turbines as well. We accommodate this with our new brand: BestWatt. An ambitious concept that provides a 100% own energy supply.

The performance of Bettink Service Team as an independent family business is characterised as professional, down-to-earth and no- nonsense. Thanks to the broad experience of the engineers, we provide well-educated specialists who know all about the new technology behind “renewable energy”.

We anticipate the rapidly changing Dutch energy market and controlled market in Europe and the rest of the world’s new situation. To make a comparison: Managing a large ship is more evident than several small boats at the same time. That is why we have decided to bring a number of the above companies back under a single heading, which links knowledge and experience. Under these circumstances I also decided to come up with a new name and I hope to manage this excellent company for a long time with our new name ‘‘RENGINEERS’!

We are all passionate about our work. We love technology. That is part of our story! The most important thing is that we truly believe in technology change — stewardship in the real sense of the word.

This illustration is a representation of the climate problem and the solution as we see it. The burning of many fossil fuels between the globe and the ozone layer is due to global warming. The only way to

take action against global warming is making use of what nature has to offer. By using the sun and wind instead of the burning and pumping of fossil fuels, we combat global warming. We see a positive change. Windturbines and solar installations are becoming an increasingly important part of energy extraction.

Together with our customers we will make a positive and essential contribution to climate change in 2020.
